Since its construction in 1874, the National Trust classified Victoria Hotel building has been a prominent feature at the heart of the historic Port Fairy Township. In 1999, extensive renovations resulted in the development of a stylish complex with stunning amenities to accentuate the original historic building.

The Victoria Hotel complex now comprises of seven luxurious suites and apartments, award winning dining, cellar, contemporary café, bar and conference facilities.

The Victoria hotel bar has the largest selection of tap beer in Port Fairy with the likes of Little Creatures Pilsner, Coopers Pale Ale, Coopers Sparkling Ale, Cascade Premium Light, Carlton Draught and Coopers Stout, to compliment our extensive wine list.

The CAFÉ

It is the place to be during any season. Enjoy the light bright Café’ area overlooking the adjoining sunny courtyard; unwind beside the open fires and order coffee, cakes, meals, and drinks at any time. In the evenings the Café is transformed into a classy a la carte restaurant featuring an expansive menu and wine list featuring regional wines.

A highlight of the courtyard is the historic blue stone wall which dates back to the 1870’s.
The café/courtyard is the venue for regular live entertainment featuring group and individual performances.

Simply Seafood is highly recommended by leading food critics.
Yazan Akeel our executive chef provides an a la carte menu using quality regional produce and seafood from our shores. Some menu items change daily to reflect the local catch and available seafood. Under the direction of Lucas Reid, staff can assist in choosing wines which will complement each dish.

Cellar

The Victoria Hotel boasts one of the finest cellars in Victoria and on request private dining is available in the Cellar. The emphasis of the cellar is on regional wines and discerning wine lovers enjoy the variety available at The Victorian as well as the wine information provided by Lucas Reid.

The open cellar can also accommodation up to 6 people for intimate dining. In keeping with the rest of the hotel, the cellar has a warm, friendly atmosphere, where diners can enjoy their visit in comfort with added privacy.
