The front rooms of the Homestead are of grand proportions and are classified as being of National Significance. Intricate wood carving, copper and metal work along with the Walter Withers murals and soaring ceiling make the Great Hall one of the most spectacular Art Nouveau rooms in Australia. Other original artwork grace all the guests rooms and hallways.

The sheer scale of Purrumbete Homestead is part of its attraction. Guest rooms are seriously large, decked out in antiques and have outlooks onto the lake or gardens. There's a sun-filled breakfast room, grand dining room where evening meals are served (accompanied by wines from the extensive cellars) and the light-filled music room with its huge open fire.

Purrumbete offers eight superbly comfortable rooms, each individually decorated and endowed with its own special personality. Outside, sweeping gardens offer secluded corners perfect for picnics or snoozing in the sun. Formal rose gardens and glorious established groves captivate at every turn.
