Service: I cannot rave enought about the friendliness of the hosts and the wonderful meal we had. We have travelled extensively and Prospect House is definitely up there with our favourite places.
Cleanliness: Excellent, could not fault anything.
Room: Great, very spacious.
Facilities: Restaurant fabulous.
Location: Great location.
Value for money: Excellent.
Overall comments: One of the best in Tasmania.

Service: What a magnificent property!Our initial onsite enquiry was met with enthusiasm and pride particularly by the lady of the manor.Indifference on checking in,inflexible dining times,nonexistant internet connection,poor attention by host at dinner-not world class as offered!!!!!
Cleanliness: The room was clean and the property was as good as the pictures in the brochure.Prospect House is a beautiful property in delightful surrounds with friendly birdlife.
Room: Shutter doors do not provide convincing privacy,but the room itself was gorgeous. EXCEPT lack of soundproofing meant our neighbours early morning shower disturbed us AFTER we'd been woken by the rooster at 4am- the crowing continued until we checked out!!
Facilities: Port in an upstairs room was a lovely touch.The courtyard was a perfumed haven bathed in sunlight, giving protection from the wind.
Location: just outside Richmond a great location.20 minutes from the airport, with a petrol station on the way. A lovely base to explore Richmond, Port Arthur, Hobart and beyond
Value for money: The property itself is 'world class', but on this occasion, the rooster-and the host let the side down
Overall comments: We spent our last night here after a wonderful week showing beautiful Tasmania to our American guests.We would recommend Prospect House to early risers!!-with a sense of humour
