Orana House was built in the bay of Lindisfarne in 1909 in an era of Edwardian grandeur. In its early days it was a fine holiday home and it is to these standards that the present owners have lovingly restored and preserved it.

With its sweeping drive, expansive gardens and unsurpassed panorama of the River Derwent and Mount Wellington, Orana House?s location is perfect ? and only six minutes from Hobart?s city centre and 12 minutes from the airport.

The guest living room and bedrooms are furnished with antiques and memorabilia that take you back to another time, but of course the facilities are first class ? a glowing log fire in the living room, heaters in the bedrooms, tea making facilities and private en suites.

A family room that will sleep five and an easy access room suitable for wheelchairs, with a double and single bed also are also available. Some rooms have their own external access for those who treasure their privacy.

THE MABEL PEARCE ROOM

A River View Double Room with ensuite. Features a bay window with a window-seat to curl up with a book or just to enjoy the view. Home-made patchwork quilt on an Edwardian blackwood bed.

A Deluxe Room with Spa Bathroom. An impressive large room with wedgewood blue and gold decor. Complimentary port & Chocolates in All Deluxe Rooms.
