Situated just 18km from the mainland, Kangaroo Island is nearly one third fully protected National Parks - The Ultimate Diving Wildlife and Nature Experience.

Kangaroo Island Diving Safaris specialise in offering dives in unspoilt wilderness areas. The North Coast of Kangaroo Island is home to 270 different fish species along with seals and dolphins.

We interact with seals some 90% of the time and bout 60% of the time we encounter dolphins.

The Island is home to one of natures beautiful small creatures, namely the Leafy Seadragon, regarded by many as being rare and extremely difficult to find. We have some of the most prolific areas of soft coral, sponges and gorgonians found in temperate waters. During the season our divers are able to take a Cray or an Abalone which adds to the flavour of the dive.

Enjoy scuba diving, snorkeling, sea dragons, dolphins, sea lions, seals, swimming and unique photographic opportunities - If we cannot show you a Sea Dragon within two days of diving we will give you another two days diving free of charge.

All the benefits of modern catamaran design are evident, providing a stable, spacious and seaworthy platform for sea. The rig is designed for ease of operation by a small crew.

Vessel

This big auxiliary sailing catamaran is designed for long range dive charter, maritime research, oceanographic survey work.

 
Construction is of Aluminium to minimize weight whilst providing the enormous strength and damge tolerance required for her area of operations.

The structural design is optimized using computer-aided finite element anlysis, and to fully realize the benefits of advanced design and materials in her construction.

All main machinery is installed in separate sound and fire proof engine rooms in the port and starboard after sections, and insulated from the accommodation areas by double wall thermal/accoustic barriers.

The rig is designed for ease of operation by a small crew. Naturally, the vessel is well equipped with the latest electronics and navigational aids, and her entire construction and engineering fitout meets the most stringent standards of IMO and USL for offshore operations.

We offer a range of accommodation. Four Star Farm stay, 4 1/2 star Country Inn, Three Star motel, and self contained Four Star Cabins are available.
