Situated in the heart of the Mt. Lofty Ranges and only 25 minutes from Adelaide, Fairview Ridge is the highest property in the hills close to Hahndorf, commanding stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

The comfortable, fully self-contained apartment provides accommodation for up to 5 people on 28 hectares of rolling gum-studded pastures.

A colony of kangaroos, living in their native state in adjacent bush land, can often be seen grazing and sunning themselves in the paddocks surrounding the apartment.

Breakfast provisions are generous in quality and variety with a strong emphasis on fresh local produce. Breakfast on the verandah and a "champagne sunset" are a must.

Have a picnic and enjoy the magnificent views over the Onkaparinga Valley towards Mt. Lofty while friendly Murray Grey cattle graze in the paddock. Take a walk through natural bush land amongst native birds and kangaroos, or catch some fish from one of the dams.

The accommodation features two bedrooms with magnificent views, queen size bed, a wood combustion heater, reverse cycle air conditioning, dining amenities, provisions for a cooked & continental breakfast, TV/Video/Stereo & CD, microwave, fridge and bench oven. A BBQ is also available for your use.

The Adelaide Hills has gained international recognition for the quality of its wines. There are some excellent wineries close to Fairview Ridge where you may sample (and purchase) wines. A restaurant is also a good place to sample local vintages, and there is no shortage of high quality restaurants in Hahndorf and the neighbouring towns of Verdun, Stirling, Aldgate and Bridgewater; all within 10 minutes drive of your accommodation.
