Broomstick was built in South Africa to win the Cape Town to Rio Yacht Race. From there she went on to compete in many of the world's most famous blue water events including the Sydney to Hobart. As a true Maxi, she is big, comfortable and very fast. She finished racing in 2000 and was converted to charter in 2001. Prosail prides itself on the fact that we have no fixed itinerary for our schedules departure sailing holidays. The desires of guests are considered in relation to prevailing weather conditions, to ensure that everyone aboard enjoys the ultimate Maxi Sailing Adventure.

Broomstick and her multi award winning crew will take you on an unforgettable 3 day 2 night sailing adventure throughout the Whitsunday Islands and, weather permitting, may visit the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Your cruise may also include a stopover at a resort.
