It is surrounded by rainforest and one of the Whitsundays' best beaches which also faces towards the west giving spectacular sunsets over the mainland and Conway National Park. The resort is a true tropical island getaway.

Guests can enjoy two pools, a great beach, extensive outdoor entertainment areas and tropical grounds, plus a wide range of water sports and other activities. There's also a gym and floodlit tennis courts. You can be dropped off by launch at Long Island's Sandy Bay for a few hours and enjoy a picnic lunch.

There's great dining and entertainment to tempt your taste buds too. Our Palms Restaurant opens up onto the courtyard and deck or there's the casual Oasis Poolside Grill. Our popular Cafe or the Pool Bar also offer something special.

Night time brings live entertainment in our Sandbar Lounge and for the die-hards, there's a nightclub to dance the night away.

Only 15 minutes drive through rainforest from vibrant Airlie Beach, you?ll find Shute Harbour.

Find yourself a park in the Shute Harbour Secure Parking Garage and make your way to the left-hand jetty where you?ll catch one of the 'Fantasea Cruises' to magical Long Island Resort.

This marks the spot where you disembark from your 15 minute transfer across the smooth sparkling waters to find yourself on glorious Long Island which is located within the famous Great Barrier Reef Marine Park
