BY AIR:

Approximate Duration of Flights into the Great Barrier Reef Airport
- 1.5 hours north of Brisbane to Hamilton Island
- 2 hours north of Sydney to Hamilton Island
- 3 hours from Melbourne to Hamilton Island
- 1.5 hours from Cairns to Hamilton Island

Direct services operate from Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, with domestic and international connections via Brisbane, Sydney and Cairns airports. From Whitsunday Coast Airport (Proserpine) regular Whitsunday Transit Coaches meet all flights for a 30 minute transfer direct to the foyer of Comfort Resort Club Crocodile-Airlie Beach

BY ROAD:

The Whitsunday's can be accessed by car from the Bruce Highway, which is the Highway servicing the East coast of Queensland, running from Cairns to Brisbane. Dependant on conditions, driving time from Brisbane is approximately 12 hours north to Airlie Beach and 8 hours from Cairns.

Regular coach services also operate into Airlie Beach.

BY RAIL:

Regular train services arrive into Proserpine Rail Station. A Whitsunday Transit Coach service is available to provide a coach transfer from Proserpine Rail Station direct to the foyer of Comfort Resort Club Crocodile-Airlie Beach.
