Brampton Island Resort boasts seven glorious white-sand beaches and its own coral reef. It sits at the southern entrance to the Whitsunday Passage, in blue and balmy tropical waters 32 kms north-east of Mackay.

Brampton Island Resort is blessed with a year-round average temperature of 27° Celsius. Exotic species of land, sea and night birds live in and around the unspoiled forests and every effort is made to protect this natural environment. Brampton Island is almost entirely National Park.

Whatever you want to do, our fun-loving staff are here to help you make the most of it. Like advice on the best spots to fish or snorkel? Just ask.

Maybe a few tips on sailboarding? Sure thing! Like all water sports instruction on Brampton, it?s free. You can discover our very own coral reef by snorkelling the underwater adventure trail. Trips to the Great Barrier Reef can also be arranged or you might just want to explore the island on a leisurely bushwalk through the National Park.

Dining:

Bluewater Restaurant
Three superb meals are included each day. The Bluewater Restaurant is the main dining area for the resort. Full buffet breakfast is served from 7.30am to 9.30am, smorgasbord lunch from 12.30pm to 2.00pm and a daily changing set 4 course menu from 6.30pm every night. The restaurant serves a sensational seafood buffet once a week and taste-tempting beach barbecues are held regularly. No wheelchair access is available to the restaurant.

Aqua Bar
The indoor and outdoor bar is open daily from 10.00am to late. Serving drinks including cocktails, smoothies, fresh juices, coffee and snack food. The Aqua Bar features nightly entertainment.

Blue Room
This relaxing lounge area overlooks the beautiful Whitsunday passage and includes an interpretive area and Internet Kiosk Area. The Blue Room features the Captain's Table Concept and board games and magazines are available. The food is a feast on Brampton Island. Refreshment alfresco is a must. The beach barbecues sizzle with tropical island flavour.
