Just a 12 minute drive north of Mackay takes you to the most relaxing holiday you'll ever have!  Blacks Beach is a delightful beach of golden sand with limited public access. The 6 km of secluded, golden sandy beach in front of the resort is fabulous for an early morning or late afternoon stroll, swimming, fishing or simply lazing in the sun.

For your privacy, the lawned beachfront area is ideal. The spectacular island views, BBQ's and picnic settings amongst coconut trees sets your holiday scene. Throughout the village, many areas have been set aside for you relax surrounded by native birds, majestic melaleuca trees, palms and tropical gardens.

If you are energetic, half court tennis and volleyball or on the run on the beach will be for you. Or try either of the two pools, spa (heated in winter), the recreation room with table tennis pool or video games or a book from our library. For the little kids there is a section in our library with books and games, outside there are swings and lots of lawn to play on and very little traffic to worry about.

• Fishing - Hire a dinghy or fish straight off our beach, Mackay Harbour wall or one of the many tidal creeks.  Game fishing trips can also be arranged.
• Shopping / Weekend Markets - Mackay City Heart and various shopping centres have it all. On the weekend, visit the local market produce or just wander the City Heritage Trail and soak up some of Mackay's History.

The 38 spacious 1, 2 and 3 bedroom, self-contained apartments are set amongst 3 acres of tropical gardens creating a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere and caters for both holiday and corporate guests.

Aspatria - Compact motel style unit with self contained facilities, air-conditioned. Sleeps 1-3 adults. Daily Motel Service.

Scawfell - Separate main bedroom, semi-private single bed, open plan living including dining, kitchen, patio and undercover parking. Sleeps up to 1-3 adults. Daily Motel Service.

St Bees - Split level apartment, open plan living with fully self contained kitchen including laundry, and undercover parking. Sleeps up to 4-6 adults. Daily Motel Service.

Carlilse - Fully self-contained 2 bedroom villa including laundry and undercover parking. Sleeps up to 4-6 adults. Daily Motel Service.

Beach House - Totally self-contained 2 bedroom villa, lounge, kitchen, dining and own private swimming pool. Sleeps up to 1-6 adults. Full linen change weekly.
