Kroombit' is located on Lochenbar Station, which is a 10,000 acre working cattle station that was once part of the now protected Kroombit Tops National Park. Kroombit offers guests the REAL "Australian outback farm experience" not to be missed!

Country hospitality and cooking, natural experiences, kangaroos, wide-open spaces, campfires, and the casual relaxed lifestyle of Central Queensland.

Situated in the heart of Capricorn Rural hinterland, only two hours drive south of Rockhampton and one and three quarter hours west of Gladstone (off the coast from Heron Island).  Kroombit Park can be accessed by car, by coach and by air. The roads are in good condition and comfortable driving for those towing caravans or trailers.

McCafferty's Coach service runs from Brisbane to Biloela and also provides a service from Rockhampton to Biloela. An air service is available from Brisbane to Thangool Airport.  (Biloela Airport).  Kroombit provides a courtesy return transfer from Biloela air and coach terminals.

The Tilt Train stops at Gladstone and Rockhampton as do major airlines. 
There is an extra charge to pick up from these areas.
