Palace Backpackers is the newest apartment-style hostel in Hervey Bay and is only a 5 minute walk to the beach and esplanade

Facilties on premesis include a common area with TV and pool tables, BBQ, pool, security lockers and internet access.

Our courtesy bus can meet you at the Transit Centre, or if you have your own car, we have plenty of off street parking.

Every apartment has it's own self catering kitchen and lounge area, and are either dorm share or double. Bathroom facilites are shared on each level.

Palace Backpackers allows easy access to Fraser Island, the worlds largest sand island, with our own 4WD self drive camping safaris. Or during the Whale Season see Humpback Whales at play in the waters of Platypus Bay.
