Babbooyin offers a peaceful bush location. Low set modem fully self contained, fully screened 3 bedroom house sleeps up to 10 people. There are 2 main bedrooms with a double bed in each room, the 3rd bedroom has single bunk beds. Bathroom-toilet & separate laundry including washing machine. 2nd toilet separate. Living and dining area with 1 big electric fridge/freezer, gas Stove, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans. 24 hour lighting. Does not supply TV or radio.
Gas hot water and gas BBQ in pergola area. Pumping of water and generator is done from the Taxi house next door. Power for washing machine and charging of personal batteries comes on at night from 6pm to 9pm.
HONEYEATER LODGE
Honeyeater Lodge offers as the name suggests - beautiful bird life. This truly self contained, fully screened, 3 bedroom holiday house sleeps 8 people. 2 main bedrooms one with a queen bed the other a double bed. The 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds. Big kitchen/lounge/dining area with gas stove, electric fridge/freezer and gas hot water. Shower in bathroom and separate toilet. Lights, fridge and washing machine are powered off solar.
There is no 240v power and no TV or radio. Pillows, blankets, cutlery and crockery is supplied. You need to pick up the key from the taxi house and pay any balance of accommodation in cash on arrival.
BOW-ALLUM PLACE UNITS - Bow-Allum means ?Pelican? in Fraser Island Aboriginal dialect.
Bow-Allum Place offers great sea breezes.
