Air
Domestic and International visitors can fly direct to Cairns, where a number of transfer options to Cape Tribulation are available.
Coach Transfers
Coach transfers are available between Cairns and Cape Tribulation daily. We recommend "Airport Connections" who offer daily transfers to and from Cairns airport, they also provide a similar service from Port Douglas.
Timetables are available at the time of booking. Transfer time is approximately two and half to three hours each way. Transfers from Cairns require crossing the Daintree River by car ferry. The Daintree Ferry operates between 6am-12midnight every day.
Self Drive
You can also organise to hire a car or drive your own and enjoy the magnificent scenery at your leisure. Once you arrive at the Daintree River the ferry, operating between 6am to midnight, will take you across to Cape Tribulation.
Other Options
Light plane and helicopter private charter transfers are also an option. If this interests you, please advise when making your accommodation booking.
