Situated on a 10,000 acre working cattle station in Queensland's Lockyer Valley, just 60 minutes drive south west of Brisbane, Peppers Hidden Vale is surrounded by picturesque mountains, valleys, and lakes.

The property was first settled in the early 1800s - the original Homestead built in the 1920's is testimony to Australia's colonial past but has recently been revived with the indulgent touch of Peppers.

At Cotton's Restaurant you can enjoy fine cuisine prepared in the acclaimed Pepper's style. In the cooler months sink into a comfortable lounge beside the open fireplace, and when it's warmer, enjoy a chilled glass of chablis while relaxing by the cooling waters of the spectacular hillside rock pool.

While maintaining the heritage and elegance of a bygone era, Peppers Hidden Vale gives you the opportunity to gain an insight into the workings of a modern cattle property, but with all the comforts that you would expect of a Peppers Retreat.

The Retreat is designed in the style of a traditional Australian homestead from a bygone era with the main guest lounge, reception, restaurant and bar located in the original Homestead.

Spend the afternoon learning the finer points of cattle mustering as the onsite Peppers Hidden Vale Station Manager invites experienced riders to partake in the rounding up of the properties 600 head cattle.

Have you ever wanted to try firing a shotgun? Do you think you?ve got a good eye? Try your skills at our shooting range. All range fire is fully supervised and instructions are given to all participants. No shooting experience is needed as expert advice is offered in all cases. All group sizes are accommodated.

Peppers Hidden Vale - Room Information.

Scattered amongst country gardens are elegantly restored buildings dating back to the 1920?s and converted into luxury guest accommodation. Guest accommodation is located in a cluster of attractive Queensland cottages. The individual cottages all have a distinctive character ranging from a quaint Chinese cottage built in the late 1800's to a six bedroom cottage which was formally the Station Manager's home.

All 30 guest rooms and suites offer panoramic views of the surrounding picturesque mountains, valleys and lakes from large verandahs.

In addition to the luxury rooms located within the homestead, Peppers Hidden Vale also offers an adventurous overnight experience at our secluded cabins located two hours by horseback or 30 minutes by 4WD from the Homestead.

Cottage Room

Cottage Rooms have either a double or queen bed, a television, mini bar refrigerator, and a separate bathroom with shower

Valley Room

Valley Rooms are larger rooms with either queen or king beds, television, mini bar refrigerator, and a separate bathroom with shower. Some of these rooms have entry sitting rooms.

Heritage Room

Heritage Rooms are all individual suites complete with sitting rooms, verandahs with spectacular views and spa baths. Also within rooms are televisions and mini bar.
