Lake Bennett Wilderness Resort is set around the shores of an 81 hectare fresh water lake located within 125 hectares of tropical Australian bushland. It has been developed into a premier tourist resort oasis. All this just one hours drive south of Darwin.

Just 76 kms south of Darwin and 7 kms off the Stuart Highway on bitumen road is the hidden oasis of the Lake Bennett Wilderness Resort.

When you enter our doors you are stepping into our home and will be treated as our special guests.

Our fully licensed Restaurant/Bar is open from 7.30am till late (seasonal) and caters for all tastes and budgets.

Enjoy an ice cold beer from our bar or taste the delight of local fresh seafood and tender grain fed steaks from our a la carte restaurant.

We have a natural rock face on the property and can organise professional facilitators to work with you designing tailor made corporate development programs. We can also host training camps for sporting clubs, school camps or group bookings.

Lake Bennett Wilderness Resort - Room Information.

We have a range of accommodation to suit individual tastes and budgets, and for coach companies and group bookings.

The style of accommodation has been constructed with both conservation and integration in mind, ensuring the bungalows are unobtrusive along the waters edge.

Inside the facilities are remarkable, comfortable and relaxing, just the way you need it after a long day out on the water or in the nearby bush. This is a fully catered for and functional holiday resort. You'll just want to keep on coming back time and again.

The luxury and comfort afforded by the decor in the bedroom is so welcoming at the end of the day, it just gives you that extra sense of well being to rest your tired muscles.

Bungalows

Set on the far shores of the lake are our self contained two bedroom bungalows.

Two bedroom bungalow can accommodated 1 to 5 persons.
Queen, double, single beds, air-conditioned, fully self catering, verandah and some with pontoons on the lake.

Executive Lakeview Spa Suites -

Air conditioned, en suite, king size bed, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, spa bath on balcony over looking the lake. Accommodate 1 to 2 persons only.

Garden Wing Suites -

Air conditioned, standard motel suite, en suite, queen size with single bed, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, set in the garden. Accommodate 1 to 3 persons.

Family Rooms -

Queen size bed with two single beds and trundle, can accommodate 1 to 5 persons. Queen size bed with one set of bunk beds, can accommodate 1 to 4 persons.
