Service: The staff at Ultimo Lodge make it what it is. They are friendly, inclusive and fun to be around. I really felt like part of the family rather than just another number through the door. Thanks guys!
Cleanliness: For a budget lodge, Ultimo is well maintained. It is certainly no 5 star resort, but that's not what you would expect anyway.
Room: I stayed with my family in a free standing cabin with bunk beds. The heating was good and it gave us privacy.
Facilities: For mine, Ultimo's best facility is its large communal area with 2 open fireplaces. I spent many an hour with a glass of wine chewing the fat with the staff and other guests. They really foster a great, convivial atmosphere.
Location: I stayed at Ultimo because it was cheaper than almost anywhere in Jindabyne and half the distance to the slopes.
Value for money: If you want a resort with 5 star accommodation, don't go to Ultimo. If you want good value for money, hearty meals (provided) and a great atmosphere, Ultimo is perfect.
Overall comments: Heartily recommended!
