Service: The staff were excellent, from the lady at Reception, to the staff in the resturant. They were attentive and friendly.
Cleanliness: We stayed in a Platinum Studio Chalet which was very clean and tidy.
Room: Our studio chalet was spacious but still cozy with amazing views. The bathroom had lovely warm floors. The bed was very comfortable and warm. The oven gave off a bit of smoke. Over all a lovely, well spaced, very clean room.
Facilities: We used the pool and sauna. Whilst he pool could have been warmer the sauna was lovely. The breakfast buffet was amazing with a fantastic selection of food(ate way to much) as was the dinner (new york steak was perfect). Again the staff were fantastic. I would recommend you book if visiting during peak times.
Location: We visited Thredbo, any easy 20 minute drive for a shop and a visit to the pub. It is easy to find, plenty of signs on the highway. This place is quiet and secluded.
Value for money: I would say that the value for money is excellent. We had a fantastic time and it was exactly what we were looking forward - a place to chill.
Overall comments: I would gladly recommend Lake Crackenback for couples, and young families. There is plenty of children activies such as bike riding, fishing, boating, bush walking etc. As for couples, I nice place to spend some alone time.
