Candlelight Lodge is a european style guest house in the centre of Australia's Snowy Mountains.
Candlelight Lodge is one of Thredbo's original guest houses having been built in 1958. Since that time it has undergone many re-furbishments, has tripled in size and at the same time has retained the original charm of yesteryear.
A warm and friendly European atmosphere greets you on your arrival at Candlelight Lodge. All lodge rooms have beautiful views of the mountain ski slopes. Most also have balconies. Because we are centrally located, you have easy access from your accmmodation to all resort facilities for your Thredbo skiing or hiking holiday.
Candlelight is built in the Tyrolean style and therefore brings that wonderful traditional atmosphere to an alpine skiing holiday. Being one of the original
guesthouses in the village, it is a part of the history of this unique area of Australia.
As you wake up in the mornings, you can look from your room out onto the slopes to see the conditions.
In winter come down to the restaurant daily for your fabulous cooked breakfast before you venture onto the slopes. In summer we provide a continental
breakfast. Then sit back to enjoy the view from the restaurant's picture windows until your cooked breakfast arrives. It'll be one to suit even the maddest skier's or rider's appetite.
In Winter you can relax by the open fireplace in the lounge and bar area after dinner in the restaurant or watch the snow fall from your breakfast table.
Other facilities include in-house massage therapist, sauna, wireless broadband internet access, guest laundry and ski and luggage storage. For the kids
there is table tennis, table soccer, board games and a selection of videos to watch as well as DVD players and X-boxes in family rooms.

of Thredbo behind the Thredbo Alpine Hotel Candlelight is just a short
stroll to the Thredbo Valley Terminal. The courtesy shuttle bus stops
directly outside the front door for those either too tired after a long
day skiing or those keeping their energy for the long day skiing.
