Tower Lodge - Accommodation Facilities.

In a climate of rare tranquility, Tower Lodge has been designed as the ultimate retreat for discerning guests and executive boards requiring exclusivity. It is also an ideal venue for small weddings and celebratory occasions.

The "Spanish Mission" exterior refutes what lies within the walls of the Lodge and the 100 year old French coach house doors provide an impressive entrance. The main building houses a reception and lobby area from where you pass through one of two massive monastery doors to the bar-lounge and on into the grand dining room.

A favourite winter spot is the library located next to the dining room. Vault-like and cosy, there are some wonderful old classic editions, novels, magazines, daily newspapers and a selection of games and an antique card table.

The spaces within the Lodge are furnished as you would expect an exclusive house or chateau. Antiques, treasures and collectables, rich fabrics and recycled old timbers.

An enornmous fireplace in the lounge room is crowned with a paua shell encrusted mirror of significant dimensions; this typifies the nicely eccentric excess that prevails throughout the Lodgeand the guestrooms.

Tower Lodge accommodates a maximum of 24 persons and we are dedicated to ensuring the peace and privacy one expects of a small, exclusive retreat.

Restaurants and Dining on Tower Estate -
Breakfast is served in the Lodge Dining Room under the two-storey window wall with views to the Brokenback Range. The cloistered courtyard is a tranquil setting in the summer months for breakfast also. The Lodge guest lounge and bar are open continuously serving the wines of Tower Estate, plus aged Hunter wines, imported Champagnes and a range of malt whiskies and cognac.

Robert's Restaurant on Tower Estate serves the finest regional cuisine under the love and guidance of Master Chef Robert Molines. A jewel of the Hunter and a must visit.

Blaxland's Restaurant, another Hunter Valley landmark is the Estate's less formal dining recommendation, specialising in fresh uncomplicated dishes.

Tower Estate Winery, is one of the Hunter's newest working boutique wineries. Tastings available from 10.00am - 5.00pm daily.

Recreation and Activities -
Golf - The Lodge has an 18 hole short putting course. Lodge guests also have the choice of several other international standard courses to choose from within a 5km radius of the Lodge.

Swimming Pool - The Lodge heated outdoor pool is in a private, enclosed compound on the western perimeter of the Lodge. Within the enclosure is a sauna, gym, and a massage treatment room. Massage treatments are also available in the privacy of your guestroom.

Wine Country Touring and Tasting - The Hunter Valley Wine Country offers a variety of experiences. You can visit some of the countries oldest wineries and vineyards. The Valley has a calendar full of events, like Jazz in the Vines and Opera in the Vineyards to name a few. Or, take a rug, a glass of wine, some cheese and lie under a gum tree!

Conference and Functions - The conference room is at the north end of the courtyard and offers a wide range of up-to-date audiovisual and communications equipment. Adjacent to the conference room is a charming teahouse and breakout areas for delegates. The boardroom is approximately 12 x 7 metres with a ceiling height of a little over 4 metres. The Lodge is perfect for precious occasions and caters to 24 in-house guests.
