The "Spanish Mission" exterior refutes what lies within the walls of the Lodge and the 100 year old French coach house doors provide an impressive entrance. The main building houses a reception and lobby area from where you pass through one of two massive monastery doors to the bar-lounge and on into the grand dining room.
A favourite winter spot is the library located next to the dining room. Vault-like and cosy, there are some wonderful old classic editions, novels, magazines, daily newspapers and a selection of games and an antique card table.
The spaces within the Lodge are furnished as you would expect an exclusive house or chateau. Antiques, treasures and collectables, rich fabrics and recycled old timbers.
An enornmous fireplace in the lounge room is crowned with a paua shell encrusted mirror of significant dimensions; this typifies the nicely eccentric excess that prevails throughout the Lodgeand the guestrooms.
Tower Lodge accommodates a maximum of 24 persons and we are dedicated to ensuring the peace and privacy one expects of a small, exclusive retreat.
