Kims has been around for a long time. More than 115 years in fact - which means we have had plenty of time to make our mark.

It shows in all sorts of ways, from the avenue of giant Norfolk Island pines that were planted when Kims was just a collection of tents, to traditions such as the ship's bell that rings for meal times, to the overwhelming sense of calm - but perhaps nowhere better than at the table.....

Thrice daily since 1886, our ships bell has caused great anticipation. For it heralds once again, a Kims meal is being served. Three superb buffet meals are included in your daily tariff.

Only the freshest, most wholesome food is selected and prepared simply but with great expertise. The menu changes daily, featuring local seafood, an Australian and International cheese selection and 'home made' delicacies including our own smoked salmon, ice cream, preserves and chutney. Not to mention our selection of premier wines.

Superb dining facilities offering far more variety than you could expect to get from an a la carte. There are the old favourites such as Steak and Kidney Pie, Roast Lamb and Mint Sauce with four fresh vegetables and desserts such as Strawberry Pavlova and Bread and Butter Custard.

You will also find taste sensations such as Sandalwood Smoked Tasmanian Salmon, Tandoori Chicken, Stir Fried Baby Octopus and Sashimi on our dinner table.

The accommodation at Kims exemplifies this hideaway as a place where privacy is always respected. Our bungalows have been designed in complete harmony with their natural surrounds.

Features can include your own private heated swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi or spa bath and perhaps even a double shower temple.

Choose from bungalows or spa villas with either an open plan single living space, two storeys or two separate rooms set in various locations offering garden views and lush tropical surrounds or absolute beach frontage with spectacular ocean viewa.

All are meticulously appointed with CD players, television and DVD players, timber decks, direct dial telephones, coffee and tea making facilities and many other features.
