Known as one of the world?s best surfing locations and with one of the only 2 north facing beaches on the east coast of Australia, Byron Bay has long been kept quiet about! There are many accessible beaches for swimming, fishing, snorkelling and sunbathing. If you prefer seclusion, try walking through the rainforest at Broken Head to the breathtaking King?s or Bray?s beach.

Climb to Cape Byron Lighthouse, the most easterly point of Australia, where dolphins and migrating whales can be clearly viewed. The area is famous also for it?s excellent fishing.

The Resort is set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens and recreation areas. It has two full sized artificial grass, all season tennis courts, resident tennis coach and lights for night time matches.

The heated swimming pool is perfect for year round swimming and a children?s wading pool is provided in the area with trampoline and swings.

AUSTRALIA?S FIRST MARINE SANCTUARY

Just 10 minutes boat ride from the shore, the 500 metres surrounding Julian Rocks has been declared Australia?s first marine sanctuary. These warm sheltered waters where temperate and tropical marine life blend in unique colourful harmony, have become a haven for scuba divers internationally and make ideal conditions for student divers. With year round warm temperatures (average winter temperature 22°C), outdoor activity is naturally a way of life in Byron Bay. You can go horse riding, hang-gliding, wind surfing or parachuting, as well as play golf, bowls, tennis or volleyball on the beach.

The Oasis Resort - Room Information.

Able to accommodate up to six, the Oasis self contained apartments each have two bedroom, two bathrooms, a spacious lounge/dining room, laundry and a fully equipped kitchen with servery. Most of the apartments have a view of the ocean just 300 metres away looking across the National Park.

Each unit comes complete with a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, television and video. The apartments have direct dial STD/ISD phones and all linen is included in the tariff. Separate undercover parking is provided.

Treetop Houses

The construction from North Coast Hardwoods, add to the beauty and tranquillity of the Oasis Resort.

Each Treetop House is a ?retreat? set high above ground with magnificent views overlooking Tallow Beach - from Cape Byron in the north to Broken Head in the south.

Treetop Houses comprise of two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a ?periscope? sitting room or office, which can become a third bedroom. From your ?deckpool? you can actually touch the top of the tree canopy.

Treetop Houses are fully self contained and boast a full kitchen, laundry, telephone and facsimile.

Also included are video, two televisions and sound system.
