Once the 19th century home of Sir Frederick Darley, Chief Justice of New South Wales, Lilianfels House had been beautifully restored and now houses the award-winning Darley's Restaurant.

Set in two acres of English-style gardens and with spectacular views of the Jamison Valley, the adjoining 85 room country house, opened in 1992, has been elegantly designed to complement the original residence.

 With its spacious lounge, open fires and library, Lilianfels makes guests feel at home from the moment they arrive. The accent is on personal service, with every whim indulged by an attentive but discreet staff.

Guests can do as little or as much as they please. Take advantage of Lilianfels' Health Club and Day Spa facilities, explore the Blue Mountains National Park, go horse riding or rock climbing, or simply relax and enjoy the hotels' convivial atmosphere.

Lilianfels has two restaurants, the award-winning Darley's Restaurant and Lilians Restaurant for contemporary modern Australian. The Lounge offering all day dining and afternoon teas, 24-hour room service is also available.

 Darley's, located in the historic Lilianfels House is luxurious and richly appointed. An external covered verandah affords a delightful location for outdoor summer dining, contrasted with the warmth of log fires ablaze during winter.

The restaurant is notable for its consistent use of regional produce and Chef Fabrice Boone's insistence on his wine list being wholly Australian, resulting in Australian regional country cooking which ignores fancy garnish and presents simple, unpretentious dishes that suit the climate and environment of the Blue Mountains. 

Darley's also boasts an intimate bar and separate private dining rooms for up to 12 guests. Ties are not required when dining at Darleys.
Darley's is open seven days per week for dinner. Reservations are recommended.

Lilians, an alternate dining experience to Darley's, is located in the Country House overlooks Lilianfels' expansive gardens. Furnishings, like the menu in this restaurant are casually elegant, softer, and offering contemporary Australian fare and children's menus.

The Lounge invites guests to relax in comfortable wing chairs, sofas, mahogany side tables, solid bookcases, elegant prints, open fires and magnificent views of the valley.
The Lounge offers all day dining (10.00am-10.00pm) sumptuous afternoon teas and refreshments served both inside and in the adjoining garden.

Swimming Pool.
With views stretching out to the Jamison Valley the heated indoor pool invites one to ?take a dip? all year round. Thirteen (13) metres in length and warmed to a welcoming 20 degrees Celsius, it?s the perfect place to refresh or relieve the rigors of a hard day?s conferencing or bushwalking. The swimming pool is open from 7.00am every day.

Health Spa.
For complete relaxation of mind and body, Lilianfels health spa provides the full range of beauty and exercise facilities. Pamper yourself with a soothing massage, a facial or dare to indulge in a full body wrap. 

The Gym.
Our gymnasium, adjacent to the Spa is open daily from 7.00am-7.00pm.

Tennis Courts.
Set amid the hotel?s pine forest, this tennis court is the perfect way to begin or end your day with a refreshing set or two under the cover of towering pine trees.
The court is open from 7.00am through to late in the evening, when the court is floodlit. There is no charge for use of the court, however it is advisable to reserve the court should you require it for a specific time during the day.
Complimentary racquets and tennis balls are available from guest relations.

Meeting rooms.
Lilianfels specialises in residential conferences, seminars, business meetings strategy development sessions, product launches, management training programs or custom designed team building sessions.

All meeting rooms have natural lighting and some share views over the Jamison Valley and Lilianfels' two acres of English-style gardens. Garden View -
Within the hotel on each floor these comfortable rooms are to be found. There is a mix of King, Queen, Twin, Attic and One suite, with charming views over the gardens.
All are large and airy with windows opening to fresh mountain air. Lilianfels historic, English style gardens are in direct contrast to the rugged mountain scenery nearby.
There are 45 Garden Rooms in the hotel.

Partial Valley View -
Throughout the hotel these delightful rooms enjoy corner positions in the hotel, giving guests partial valley views. Complimenting all other rooms, they are individually decorated to reflect the warmth, colours and textures of the mountains.
In every room at Lilianfels, delightful Australiana art brings the walls to life, and fine porcelain adds to the rooms charm. With only 18 throughout the hotel they are at a premium.
There are 18 Partial Valley View rooms in the hotel and are at a premium. These comprise a mix of King and Twin bedded rooms.

Valley View -
The precious wilderness of the heritage listed Blue Mountains is the draw for our guests to request these rooms. Surpassing the quality décor of these rooms, the quiet serenity of the hues chosen to enhance each guest room is the view.
Taking in the breathtaking views of the Jamison Valley is a passive way of enjoying this special place. There are 22 Valley View rooms in the hotel. These comprise a mix of King, Queen, Twin, Suites and Attic rooms.

Attic Room (with Spa) -
These popular rooms are located in both Garden and Valley View aspects of the hotel (2 in each). These rooms have their own private (Spa) Jaccuzi. Popular with the romantic and honeymoon guest. The quaint pitched ceiling gives the room a distinction all its own. Brass bed heads, snow white doonas, and all the features to be found throughout the hotel, definitely a room with a difference. There are 4 Attic Rooms in the hotel.

Our Suites -
In addition to our freestanding Cottage Suite, Lilianfels has four suites, distinguished by their individual character: 'Mini Mini Saddle', 'Cloudmaker', 'Kanangra' and 'Nellie's Glen'. Kanangara overlooks the Jamison Valley, while Nellie's Glen has a garden view.
Both Mini-Mini Saddle and Cloudmaker also overlook the Jamison Valley, each have their own sitting room with sofa, dining room table, antique secretaire, amoire, CD player and bathroom with spa bath. 

They both have an interconnecting room available, so that it is possible to have a 2 - bedroom suite. All suites have a separate sitting room and bedroom.
